How does the application process and score work for United? Is it all automated or do people actually pull the apps and hand score them for invites?

There is no app scoring.

It’s done automatically.

But it doesn’t exist.

I believe they said automatic scoring and then from those done manually past a threshold. Otherwise there would be no point to filling out the explain boxes

I would probably avoid insulting the looks of recruiters if you are looking for a job.

I'm sure the recruiting team, who actually make the hiring decisions, will feel the same way!
