It's a sad state of affairs when Boeing engages in demonstrably criminally negligent behavior during the certification process, acts in a manner not worthy of the traveling public or any professional aviator's trust, and yet we're going to make fun of the pilots for being stressed?
I hope my Canadian brothers and sisters take them to the cleaner. Boeing can go to hell. |

Once again Management will likely get the employee attitude they foster. I’m guessing this is a SWA Pilot? I really hope none of our own would file such a lawsuit referencing “significant loss of pay” or whatever was quoted as well as throwing out the “safety card”. Who knows...

Legend has it that Bethune cautioned his managers about shorting pilots a single dollar. Something along the lines that they'd get at least 5 back.
This isn't rocket science. |

If you don’t throw the “safety card” after 350 people die because Boeing wanted to save a few bucks, when do you throw it?

Legend has it they didn’t have to short the pilots, they shorted themselves. And Bethune said "you left $500 million on the table"—to their face. Allegedly.
So he’s refuting it, basically. |
