Glasgow: alcohol. Again?
#141
After reading the first post-merger FOM I emailed an MEC member regarding the allowance to drink alcohol on a deadhead and the listing of deadhead pilots as "crew" on a trip pairing. Are they subject to DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing after the flight? I got a response but not an answer. Still don’t know the answer.

Since the FOM is the only one that covers this, that is policy. End of story. Reference the related pilot bulletin for the location of all the info you need on what is allowable.
