I truly have to laugh. It seems young folk at Skywest and Republic somehow thought they were entitled to something. Let's review: Millennials feel entitled, but in reality they are not, and now several Millennials are coming online to complain, and claim moral high ground.

Next time maybe they can try holding their breath until they get their way.

Quite the reverse actually, if you look at the demographics of who in our pilot group supported the JS denial.

Big picture guys and gals....

It would be best if we didn't have managements in either skywest or UAl, or anyone else meddling in the Jump Seat language.

I would like to see union jump seat committees handling all of this.

it should be a no brainer that an FAA observer gets on first and is a must ride.

So you’re saying the hopeless, bitter few, were to blame here?

Let's just say that seniority numbers were a very strong predictor of someone's opinion on how SAPA handled this episode.

Sounds like it’s time to get a real union.

Lol I did 5 years at an ALPA Regional, they did nothing for us. ALPA only takes care of the big boys. I volunteered on a few committees and when we attended ALPA functions it was clear where we stood. ALPA is great for UAL and DAL, but the pilot shortage is the only thing that’s helped the regionals...
