There is no doubt in my mind that he is a Skywest pilot. I know this because I used to fly with a few vocal lifers at my regional (not skywest) who were just like this. They had a complex and thought every mainline pilot "looked down" on them but they weren't introspective enough to realize that really they were looking down on themselves and projecting those feelings.

These are the same guys who would tell their FOs that they stayed at their regional by choice, usually for some B.S. reason like "I don't want to fly with a bunch of primma donnas" while ignoring real reasons like lack of a college degree or their personalities.

I have a college degree. I’m a lifer because I enjoy the quality of life Skywest offers.

Uh huh. Like I said, tell us exactly how many CAs are on the E175/SFO list. Five seconds on SWOL will give you that answer. Or are you just a reject who couldn't get hired here?

Well, you guys could easily end up burning the place to the ground because United's had a nasty habit in the past of changing express carriers faster than you change your underwear. So that would change your above statement to the past tense.
How's everything going with American?

I commute so if I ever get denied a jumpseat, I'll just fill out a PDR and look at alternative transport options. Likely the next flight.

FWIW, I won't be denying anyone the jumpseat. I'm not going to stoop down to a few SkyWest pilots' level.

Shift the flying to who? Mesa? Air Cheeseconsin? Please, this is a pilots market. Flying can no longer be shifted around. Just because something didn’t go ALPAs way and will backfire doesn’t mean flying will be taken from us.

Avoiding the question, I see. And thanks for that very classy PM. Are you an incel living in your mom's basement playing Microsoft Flight Simulator?

Yep. SkyWest's flying is bulletproof. Just keep telling yourself that. IF you're really a SkyWest pilot.
