The calculator on the ALPA website is an excel version that works well to answer how much will you spill, and how much can you contribute to minimize spillage.

Online calculator goes into more detail and based on actual contribution timing, where the excel version assumes you get in all the pre and post contributions in before hitting the 415 (c) limit.
