The calculator on the ALPA website is an excel version that works well to answer how much will you spill, and how much can you contribute to minimize spillage.

Online calculator goes into more detail and based on actual contribution timing, where the excel version assumes you get in all the pre and post contributions in before hitting the 415 (c) limit.

"the benefits book". when you log in to the alpa website, don't search in the e-library there, you have to navigate to the MEC website first, click on e-library, and it's in there
