Brian Znotins picked up by American

The world’s biggest 737 fanboy. The man who killed our deal for the C-Series by leaking details to his buddy at Boeing. AA is up the creek. He should fit in nicely over there. I hope he wreaks havoc with their fleet like he did for us.

Exactly. One trick pony who baffles with BS rather than dazzle with brilliance. We could’ve been cleaning up with a fleet of Airbus NEOs by now, but he was too stupid/egotistical to see the full picture.
Good riddance.

Ah yes another awesome executive talent Sismek brought to the merger to save all, but in reality wrecked everything. Hey at least he wasn’t Abbott level incompetent even though he was prob driving force behind Q400 to Colgan. Glad Kirby poached the network guys we have now from American.

I met him once and he gave me a pretty lame excuse when I asked why we were running a crappy 50 seat rj into markets in florida (specifically Jacksonville) while delta and american were filling 75s and airbus every day of the week. "The demographics didn't show a strong enough market..." despite the full mainline competitors airplanes and rj's leaving paying passengers behind for weight and balance. I am still baffled by where we rely on 50 seat rj's TBH.

Znotins was an errand boy who was just carrying out orders of an incompetent senior management. Kirby, Nocella et al are the network A team, but they are playing us like a fiddle on the contract. When was the amendable date again?

Dude, I hear you. I fly out of Ft Walton Beach, Pensacola, and Panama City all the time. If United cares to take on the other legacy carriers head on they need to run something other than POS RJs down here. A couple full 737s a day to each, and to other than just Houston would make a statement.

United is weak in the southeast. DAL has ATL and AAL has MIA.
