777 Question

Please forgive my ignorance. I know the difference between the 777A and the others, but what is the difference between the B and C models? Do we have both? TIA

Mainly far less fuel capacity then the 777C.

The C model has a slightly higher gross weight and is powered by GE engines. The A&B are P&W powered. The main difference on the flight deck is one has EPR gauges and the other doesn’t and I’m proud to say I can’t remember which. All those years at TK are rapidly wearing off!

C Model has larger GE engines, Bunks , 100k higher MGW and longer range, than A and B models.

The C model is only 8k heavier than the B model MGTOW on the C is 656K and the B is 648K. The B model has the same bunk set up as the C model only you don’t have to go on a walk about to take a leak, the head on the B model it’s right across from the bunk room. On the C you have to traipse through first class to hit the head.

The A model is the little guy with no rest facilities, it’s 545K MGTOW.

Now you made made me go look it up.:D The A&B has EPR gauges the C and 322 do not.

Hoss, the C's are getting the Polaris interiors. As they are converted, they move the lav to the location in the B's so you don't have to go outside the cart for a bathroom break.

Otherwise you are correct about the engines and GW. The C's are slightly more capable.

That’ll be a nice change on the C model..
