Reserve/Lineholding/Widebodies at KDEN

Air Force guy here, trying to weigh future options.

If I end up lucky enough to get hired by United, Denver would likely be at the top of the heap of places I would want to live. How long does it take for a new guy to be able to start flying out of there? How long does it take for one to hold a line? What, if any, widebody flying is done from Denver, and how long does that typically take? Also, since it will be some time before I'll even be able to really concern myself with post-military life, what do the tea leaves look like for Denver long-term? Any info helps. Thank you!

New hires are getting into Denver on 737, A320, and 756 w/in 1 year...and in some cases, before training is complete. You値l be able to hold 737 CA in Denver before you値l hold 787 FO in Denver. Just the way it is. Can hold a NB line pretty quickly. I知 a solid weekends off line holder in Denver on the 756 with less than 5 yrs on property.

Hope this helps

How long before you could hold 737 CA in DEN and what would you anticipate for 787 FO?

I realize this will change as DEN grows, but I知 curious how it stands currently. Thanks.

A big chunk of the growth and recent advancements are based on a plane that is still grounded and the terminal expansion is a future plan. Denver doesn稚 have the best flying. Lots of red eyes on the 737, the 757 is mostly red eye HI trips, and just a few WB trips. Here are some rough seniority numbers to hold what you want.

NB f/o line holder 12,500
756 f/o line holder 12,000
WB f/o line holder 8,000
WB f/o with over 50% flying seats 5,500
737 ca line holder 7500
320 ca line holder 6650
787 ca line holder 800

Might want to check those base trades and update your numbers. 3 yrs to Den or Ord 737 Capt.

Where does it show a 3yr guy to DEN? Systems seniority of 9341 is on the last CAT award as the junior CA.
