Just heard one of my fractional friends has the CVirus. Didn't sound like the company/their US state of residence was very organized about what he should do/who he should contact, to try and identify possible exposures and contain the spread. They are into their second week, as best we can tell, and so far doing pretty well.
At my company we are to notify our company and med services immediately if we have any symptoms, and call the CP right off if you test positive. They have a process to notify anyone possibly exposed. |
I haven't posted in a few days because nothing's new. My wife and I are monitoring our temperatures multiple times a day and neither of us have had an elevated temperature.
At this point, it's been 14+ days since exposure so I am back on the line - well, actually on reserve. The computer doesn't have me on reserve until near the end of the first week of this month. Since my wife is a nurse supervisor at an urgent care clinic, she has to call those who had positive tests. Many were surprised to hear they were positive while one died from coronavirus. Rather than coronavirus, this should probably be called 'box of chocolates' virus because you never know what you're going to get. There is such a wide variety of severity for those that have caught coronavirus. The good thing is that the overwhelming number of coronavirus tests at my wife's work have been negative so one's not certain to catch coronavirus (or many more health care workers would have caught it) and if one does catch it, there's a very good chance that it will be mild. |
