I have no idea how you got that out of what I posted. Iím definitely onboard with 50 hr lines to stop, or even reduce a furlough. Iíve been furloughed I donít wish that on anyone. I was commenting on how people freak when every little discussion is shouted down as negotiating in public. Your statement is a perfect example. I see no harm in you stating that you are willing to sacrifice to save others from furlough, Iíd be at the head of the line to sign up as well. Others would jump up and down and say that the acknowledgement of your willingness to work a reduced schedule is negotiating in public. As to your look in the mirror and seniority comment, I am senior enough to avoid another furlough, but my getting bumped back to NB F/O is nothing compared to getting that certified letter while looking at a wife and young kids wondering what to do now. I hope that our reps come up with a solution and that it is overwhelmingly approved by the group.

I certainly hope we are given such an option.

I am willing to stay home for 50 hours monthly pay for the rest of my career to keep everyone on the seniority list.

That is actually hilarious coming from the guy who posted as many times as you did just this morning (you could have made anywhere between 17 and 32 but I didn't bother digging around for your first actual post). I simply saw your screen name as the Last Post for EACH and EVERY United thread this morning starting with the short-term-paycuts-vs-chapter-11 thread (started by the currently banned Big John, RIP after a mere 22 posts). If you want to build credibility, you are going to have to do better than that.

17% infection rate. 0.5% mortality rate.
And the ages of passengers leaned heavily toward senior citizens so real world numbers are likely lower.

South Korea has done extensive (but not complete) coronavirus testing and has a 0.6% mortality rate.

Just because Italy has a lot of cases doesn't mean that will be replicated; I love Italy but there are a lot of old people and a lot of smokers there. Given the degree of sloth in Italy, I don't believe the hype that they've got a great health care system.
Yeah, there is no smokers here. 40 percent of Americans are obese and 10 percent have diabetes

This is the most true statement here.

Great Post.
100 per cent accurate.

Well the good news is that thereís toilet paper at Target. Store brand and one package per customer only. No hand sanitizer. Limit one on small hand soaps. No Clorox wipes or picnic wipes.

My diversion for the day is over and itís back to the forum. Iím going to see if I can double my post count by the end of the day just to irritate you. Starting with this one.

Like you said, I have to increase my street cred. What is this world coming to?
