"Based on how doctors expect the virus to spread and how economists expect the global economy to react, we expect demand to remain suppressed for months after that, possibly into next year," Munoz and Kirby said Friday. "That means being honest, fair and upfront with you: if the recovery is as slow as we fear, it means our airline and our workforce will have to be smaller than it is today."

Watch out of your side eye at how delta's MEC is navigating a management that isn't on the same page. They negotiated something that we already had in our contract and other non-union work groups got envious. All of a sudden delta management didn't like their previous round of negotiations and backtracked. This is a game for our careers. Same old play book with slightly different players.

the me too clause. If you have it, anticipate others want it, and sometimes they don't have the organic negotiating leverage to get it on their own.

Especially if the “others” chose not to unionize.

I was already chastised by a mod for speaking my opinion regarding the non-union Utah-based airline.
