Mass Layoffs Loom, up to 4500 pilots will be made redundant and F/A's will be 3 to 4 times that number. Management and admin staffs looking at 30% cut on Oct. 1st.

Source is some lame FA recruitment website, with the “journalist” being a FA himself.

This is a non-US born FA, and not even a United employee.

The article is just another rehash of the obvious. 'Cut your spending because bad times are here' isn't exactly breaking news.


In other stuff, I haven't seen what's going on with the FAs. Have they offered a FA retirement incentive package to help reduce United's average FA age to 65?
