You think you’re joking, but it honestly comes off like you don’t have the desire or ability to engage with actual viewpoints that differ from your own, so you chose the silliest/farthest end of the spectrum to represent the views of everyone left/right of your position.
The same is obviously true for the otherside… EG: Painting everyone who believes in any form of immigration restriction as a racist.
