A couple of premium pay 787 trips could possibly offset a job or two of a Gate Agent, a new hire FA, or a Line job. You see I think about other people and not just myself. So it could possibly be to the cost of another. Just not another pilot. It's not like we aren't well paid already. . Wow. Get a clue. If you want as many to come out of this ok then there are three things you can do. Call your reps and get factual information. Based upon that information, give them your opinions. Then, and most importantly, let you union speak for you. True unionism will benefit the "many people" you describe. |

What you fail to state on those 7+ day trips......Often times First and/or Final leg(s)/days are DH to start/end. There are SEVERAL trips that are 2 days (sometimes 3 days with two days DH home to West Coast base) with DH on beginning and ending to make the 7 day a five day trip. The reserves are waiving days on these trip thus most of the time able to break guarantee.
