Special MEC Meeting 19Jun

i really believe that most of our pilots understand that our cost structure was conducive to a very profitable airline and will be again in the future. SK doesn’t want to cede market share, so our best bet as a pilot group is to suck it up for the year or three it will take to get back somewhat normal and continue making gains at that point.
if there are any industry noobs (or contrarians for that matter) who have thoughts about the economics of concessions and I personally would encourage you to ask honest questions. There are quite a few bright lurkers here who can definitively show why lower costs have almost nothing to do with block hours IE staffing.

We have a contract and I expect the company to honor it. These are unprecedented times. But so were the profits the company was making the last few years. Yet they were determined to stall on an improved UPA. No buck, no Buck Rodgers. Full pay till the last day.
