Deja vu at United
|
They want our min guarantee. That's management's holy grail this time. Every airline seems to be discussing or implementing hour cuts, zero hour lines, etc. Do not accept. If you do you will be forced to bypass recall anyway since a zero hour line won't pay the bills. Don't accept 50 hours either since the downgrades have already occured.

we didn’t cut deeper then everyone else....DL cut the deepest. We just furloughed more because our early out wasn’t as good.

Sorry MoP early out and cutting deep doesn’t compare. Those EOs volunteered and have a paycheck. UAL did not offer a severance package to mitigate. Sorry, usually agree but I disagree with this premise

The point they’re making is that United is on track to make the deepest involuntary cuts because they chose to offer the weakest early-out and mitigation.
