dude... they were literally about to be furloughed due to sub 40% demand. In what world should they still be at full employment?

Why stop there? Let’s furlough in REVERSE seniority order! It’ll take fewer cuts to achieve the needed cost savings!

I hear someone is considering scope relief and willing to trade big ticket items for it. That should be a concern for the bottom third.

blah blah blah

Now we got the senior pilots with issues and concerns about their retirements. but someone says it's a thinly veiled whatever."

Lets talk all about the junior pilots concerns. Lets air those out.

Meanwhile we got a very junior NC helping them with their concerns.

Am I missing something?

This LOA is a crap taquito disguised as a shtt sandwich.
Just close your eyes and take a bite ... you will get past the smell and will live. Look at the bright side ... now you have a reason to be ****ed with all those you fly with.

Anyone here get interest by a cargo outfit? I might have a chance with one of the 2 main ones, but now that furloughs are off the table or delayed, not sure what options there are for keeping UAL as a return option. COLA's are still employment and only guaranteed for 3 months at a time, plus would be unavailable as an option if CARES 2 passes and the TA reverts. Has anyone discussed a PLA now that the multi-year COLA bid is closed? Obviously, my hope would be to keep my options open for return, but it looks like there's not avenue for that.

I'm wondering if anyone has recent experience and might have found a way.

I have a similar situation. I just submitted for a PLA until June to see how the smoke settles. CPO signed off on it and its sitting in someone's inbox at manpower. CPO didn't seem to think it would be a problem.

Agreed, 4 years in and I’d be Purple with excitement if I could put this place in my rear view.
