a little hard to screw it up when there is only one way in and one way out.

Bravo bridge to penalty box.....learn it and love it.

The only reason ORD works as well as it does is because they bend the rules, and everyone knows what to do. It's obvious when someone is in the mix whose not willing to do it the ORD way. Go listen to ground when a bank is pushing, they'll read off 15 clearances and once with taxi instructions and never unkey the mic, you miss yours or won't taxi until you've read it back, you'll never leave. I've never heard of anyone getting yelled at for screwing up their instructions (as long as you don't go on to a runway) but prepare for the wrath of God if you stop and screw up their flow.

Much shorter ground time than ours. We start boarding -700s at 35 minutes prior to departure and -800/-900s at 40 minutes prior. IIRC, the normal minimum scheduled turn times are 45 minutes and 50 minutes respectively but usually longer. Close-in outstations usually see the quickest turn times I noticed (i.e. think IAH-AUS-IAH or SAT or MSY or DFW).
