Now all we have to do is get people to actually buy tickets so that these vacancy awards have something to do. I wonder how aggressive they will be in training people when our schedule is still severely reduced, especially when so many will only need a RQ event.

most of these pilots are being paid as CAs anyway. This may save the company money. Instead of being a line holder as an FO getting CA pay you will now get 35hrs to not do anything at CA pay. Going to be some pay cuts here that people dont see coming. However the LOA forces you to bid your pay protected seat at 100% to keep pay protection........

so those FO’s getting Captain pay that will once again be Captains most likely will be in reserve. But at whatever tier they fall into. Only the junior tier will get 35 hours once the cares money runs out. Lineholder or reserve.

being a lineholder or not has nothing to do with 35 hours. The three tiers/segments of senior middle and junior all all based off the seniority list. Not your relative position in a category.
