I never said it was “to flex on them”, I’m sure he said it seriously. But that’s the problem... no one else is going to key the mic during a delta emergency to ask them if they ran the QRH right? Maybe to offer solutions outside the QRH if they’ve already done it and weren’t able to solve the problem, but not reminding them to do something already burned into their brain every recurrent.
