Rough week for Pratt...

There was also a 74 yesterday, cargo, not sure which carrier that had an engine fire and diverted into Brussels I heard. Definitely a tough week, but all great work by crews with no loss life or bent metal...besides the engine of course.

Not saying engine problems are not a concern, just saying what the media historically (maybe hysterically) does. |

But did Delta run the QRH??
That's a given, it's other airlines that need reminding. But sounds like an indication, not even an actual failure. Maybe non-event. |
The media loves perpetuating the common belief that everything happens in threes, so of course, they are going to scour for any aviation incidents over the next few days, to scare everyone real good.
