I used to fly with a guy who would never voluntarily undergo any type of surgery. He didn't want the tracking implant that he was convinced that the gubmint was sticking in people. And this was in 2004. On the way to PVR, he spent an hour or so trying to explain it all to me, from soup to nuts. Young, intelligent and, physically fit guy. He ended up going out on Medical, imagine that.

Just think how long that madness percolated in his head and what it has metastasized into these days? They're out there. And they hold ATPs, JDs, MDs, etc.

Steve Jobs...

I hear this from time to time from pilots that say they will never take it. personally I'm all for that. More spots for the rest of us.

I don’t know where you went to school, but in my world that seems pretty high. I think I will take my chance with the vaccine..

people have allergic reactions to medications and immunizations all the time... nothing new.

More people died from bee stings and eating peanuts than have died from all of the vaccines combined. Granted we're early in the game but to date, 97 million people have received at least one dose of one of the vaccines. That's 36% of the population. If these vaccines were killing people with 1/100th the vigor that Covid has, it would be all over the news and the process would have stopped weeks ago.

Meanwhile, new cases of Covid are up almost 20% at 60,000 (as of March 30). "Phuck social distancing, party on Wayne!

I suck at math. But over half a million have died from Covid. I will be gladly getting my second shot of the Moderna vaccine this weekend. And if I turn purple and or crap out you can say, "I told you so".

if that makes you feel comfortable to take the emergency use shot that changes your immune system then that’s great.
There are those that choose to wait to see the long term effects.
maybe there are none? I don’t blame anyone on either side. Each to his own....

Enjoy that second shot. It can be a real kick in the teeth for some. I had zero side effects from the first Moderna shot, but the second got me down a little. My arm actually hurt pretty bad, I was cold the next morning, mild headache, and just wanted to sleep. Around mid day I snapped out of it and felt fine.

[QUOTE=oldmako;3214161]I hit the ABC store today and prepped. Amazon too.

That St. Elmo's cocktail sauce is fire - love it! Growing up Indy, St. Elmo was the family celebration spot, great memories there.

It might have been a placebo, but I woke up feeling hung over after my second shot - so did what any person would do in that situation...hair of the dog, and biscuits and gravy. Felt better within the hour.
