I just started at AA a few weeks ago, I live in PIT so I can drive 2 hours to cle and sit reserve at my house. I have little kids so that makes me want that more than anything. If UA calls me soon I just want to be able to make an educated decision about what the future holds there. I know it’s hard to tell and nothing is guaranteed. CLE and MCO are used to crew Atlantic flights from hubs because it’s cheaper to qual smaller bases with lower turnover. It’s possible that CLE and MCO expand if United uses 737s for more Atlantic flying (originally Iceland was supposed to go to the 737 before they went with the 756 for example). Otherwise talking to some CLE based folks, they seem to be used often for reserve coverage for ORD, EWR and DCA flying.
