Applying to United
I have completed the 'airlineapps' website with job targeting for United. Are there any other steps required? I.E. Hogan testing, aptitude testing or other website portals I must visit? Is applying through 'airlineapps' all that is required for the recruiters to select candidates? Seems too simple from other airlines that have multiple steps in their hiring process.

Ohhh boy….

This is a very good and important question. Sadly, since no one really applies at United it may be hard to find an answer here so maybe emailing a chief pilot, Board of Director or Scott Kirby (he's their secretary) might get you some help!

In the other forum you stated you have no degree.

I’ll bite
You applied. If you did it correctly and thoroughly, I don’t think you’d say that AirlineApps was “too simple.” It should have taken you like…actually quite a long time to make sure your app is perfect.
That’s it, you’re done. Now wait lol |

If your quals on previous posts are truthful (6k total, 2100tpic), there is no way you can have this low of situational awareness. Your interaction on Frontier is even worse as you stated you've had an app in for 4 years and wondering if you need to do anything else to which they responded that they've only used airline apps for 2 years lol.

You only apply through airline apps. If you get selected for an interview, you will be sent the hogan. Nothing else to do but continue to update your app and hope for a call.

That is correct. I have owned a small business for the last 15 years and did not complete all four years.
Without a degree you have virtually taken yourself out of consideration. Yes some people have been hired without a degree but the numbers that have been hired in the last 5 years are minuscule. I would use your time that you are waiting for a call to finish your degree if you are serious about United. Just my .02c. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Airline apps isn't simple if you do it right. Step one is to dazzle the algorithm. Step 2 is to dazzle an aviation inexperienced secretary (probably most of the time). Step 3 will be your interview with aviation experienced people, background checks, HR, etc. So while bull****ting is counterproductive in step 3, you do need to provide a massively exploded view of everything you've done for steps 1 and 2. Max rows. Max kilobytes. It's not a McDonald's application.

The other thing is the OP states in another forum that they flew 50 hours a month on the low side.
50/month x 12 months = 600 hours 600/year x 14 years = 8400 hours The math doesn’t work. Something isn’t right. |
I find it hard to believe you could be at a regional for 6 years and not understand what's required to apply to various airlines. But maybe that's my compass bubble coming through, shoot, that's practically all we talked about
