Flying standby next week. When I check availability for multiple flights it shows 0/0/0, with 1 or 2 standbys listed. However, when I view the seat map. It shows approximately 15 open seats in Economy Plus (blue seats). Are these actually available or just not assigned yet? If I do a day of test run, most flights show the same thing. Are Economy Plus seats not included in totals or what is going on here?

Its probably the people that buy the cheap tickets with no seat assignment...

I’d still show up if that the flight you want… I’ve seen it go from oversold by half dozen to having 10 standbys get on at the gate…

Now I'm seeing 0/0/-9 or 0/0/-12 for many Domestic flights due to ATC protesting Covid vaccine mandates... Southwest canceled 1,000s of flights, passengers mass exodus over to UA.

ATC is not protesting COVID mandates. Southwest just dropped the ball... again.
