With as backed up as OEs have been, next summer is going to be very interesting!!! Folks that start in March won't be available till after the summer at this rate
At a quick glance there were about 45 737/320 awards out of 62.

Bingo. Lots of concerns that are a stretch. We have plenty of checks and balances.

As far as not hiring inexperienced pilots, yes we have in fact hired some extremely inexperienced pilots.

I’m not denying that there are a few that luck out and get hired with very low experience, but the vast majority of people are highly qualified. As this hiring wave continues though, I’m sure that the experience level of our new hires will decrease as desirable candidates become harder to find.

Agreed, and as stated there was a group of wet behind the ears, extremely low experience pilots hired several years ago. Hopefully that hiring practice has been stopped.

What do you consider being “extremely low experience” ?

We had a group hired a few years ago that were zero to hero types from ATCA. I think the last of that group just finished OE, but it is no longer a program.

Oh that’s right, was that the Lufthansa CFI program?

Essentially, yes. I don’t really know much about the program itself, other than it was ongoing at the time.

How often is long call switched to short call reserve on the WB? Wondering if it's possible to do long call LAX from PHX. (With Worst case driving as an option)
