With as backed up as OEs have been, next summer is going to be very interesting!!! Folks that start in March won't be available till after the summer at this rate

Bingo. Lots of concerns that are a stretch. We have plenty of checks and balances.

I’m not denying that there are a few that luck out and get hired with very low experience, but the vast majority of people are highly qualified. As this hiring wave continues though, I’m sure that the experience level of our new hires will decrease as desirable candidates become harder to find.

Agreed, and as stated there was a group of wet behind the ears, extremely low experience pilots hired several years ago. Hopefully that hiring practice has been stopped.
