For those of you that work in EWR but live elsewhere, is there anyway to get the NJ tax back when filing our taxes?

You mean the SDI, etc? You shouldn’t be paying income tax.

Correct, I don't pay NJ income tax, just the SDI etc.

No, but you can use the benefits of the program if you need them, even if you don’t live in NJ, since you pay into it.

Like the other poster said, you’re stuck with those, but the programs that they shore up are there if you need them.

Yep. I was based there for about a year. Nice sunk cost. It is a good state to get furloughed in through so if you think that might happen, switch back.

The SDI insurance is a decent benefit.
