Default New Hires - Return of Unvaccinated Employees

I was told that exceptions are now being provided to Pilots who wish to interview and are not vaccinated; they are required to mask at all times inside the FTC and provide a negative test prior to the interview.

Can anyone confirm if an unvaccinated Pilot has actually succeeded in being hired under this policy? Info also suggests that HR is extending CJO’s to unvaccinated Pilots with a “reasonable accommodation process”. I know the CEO testified to Congress that masks and the current vaccine no longer make scientific sense.

As it seems like a very recent change - info on this beyond the rumor mill is appreciated. Basically are they actually interviewing, hiring, and allowing new hires that are not vaccinated to class up? What are the accommodations provided?

From an email I received from United they are allowing you to interview however you have to provide a negative test within the last 24 hours to the interview and wear a mask the whole time. I’ll send you a message to bounce something off you.

Anyone have an update on this policy? Or recent interview experience without the vaccine?

Spoiler

A recent email from United confirmed that an CJO was granted, and then a “RAP” or Reasonable Accommodation was approved for an unvaccinated new hire. Class dates are being delayed for those with a CJO & approved RAP until several other countries allow unvaccinated crews to enter.
