Nope...upgrading next month

Went to PAPA, pretty fresh off CA IOE with only 15PIC at the time. Crickets for a few weeks but I woke up to an invite and did the leadership inventory earlier today. For comparison’s sake Southwest sent me a virtual invite almost immediately, on July 19th. United took 3 weeks, August 6th. Still nothing from Delta.

How much TT do you have?

At the time, 3300. Consisted of 2300h 121 and like… 15 TPIC. Now I have 3400 and 75 TPIC.

Curious if there are any getting called just past the mins in the 2500hr realm ..

I know a guy at one of the WOs who had 1900 hours and got the invite for both UA and DL. Didn’t get hired at either but idk what the story was behind either of those TBNTs. But it can happen below 2500.

Purely anecdotal but the recruiter I met with at PAPA said, to paraphrase, they don’t care so much about PIC rather they care more about the person, and are offering interviews to FOs. I don’t remember word for word but the nuance is that they’re interviewing and I guess hiring some people with fewer hours and no PIC. Could have just been something they tell everyone, but they were the only booth I talked to that seemed to not really care about pic and total time.

I got the call at under 2K TT, but I have strictly mil/121 time, only 80ish Mil FW PIC. They’re right in saying they’re looking to hire the right person.
