Meet and greet
 

I have one Wednesday with a UAL chief pilot. Anyone have any experience of meet and greeting and what happened after? Thanks

There’s some good information in other threads but basically, the CPs have a certain amount of recommendations they can send to HR each year. If they choose to recommend you after your meet and greet, they send the rec to HR and it gives your application a significant boost.

In my M&G experience, it was a few days after the CP sent the rec to when HR sent the Hogan invite.

Follow the instructions. If it says wear business casual don’t show up in a suit and tie. If you’re attending with your sponsor they will probably ask your sponsor why they were motivated to set up a meet and greet for you.

It’s not an interview, but there may be some interview style questions. It would be good to be conversational in your background and why you want to work for United.
