C5 Elections
Not much talk on here about the ongoing C5 elections. Any suggestions to avoid the same brand of Management sympathetic leadership.

Can't go wrong with any of the names on the list so far, all good guys- many with a ton of union experience.
There are a few on the list as well who aren’t ALPA-lifers. None I know personally, but their info has been sent out on the campaign distribution lists. |
As one of the guys running for Sec Treas, I have no problems answering any questions you may have.
I have been on this Group for a while and have always been vocal with my opinions. Right or wrong, they ARE my opinions. That being said, I'll repeat what I stated last time I ran and also in all my campaign emails. I'm running to work on Comm. We are in this mess because we didn't have open and honest comm for the past 4+ years. I'm not running to push my agenda or take down the union. On the contrary- I want what EVERYONE (probably) wants.. a Strong Union AND a Strong Company. I just believe that we need Comm and Education to get that. Obviously, I would like your Vote. If not, well- I understand if you don't like some of my opinions that I have posted on this forum or others (including the ones I have been banned from! lol) I would just tell you that I believe the council should vote based on the pilots group opinions. That means giving the pilots the tools to communicate with the council. That should be done via Zoom meetings once a month, In person meetings at least 3 times a year, and surveys when warranted. My opinion isn't running. PLEASE- VOTE! Both the other two individuals running for Sec Treas are NOT my opponents, they are fellow pilots willing to Step Up. I respect that, and so should you. Take the time to cast a vote for one of us three. EVEN if you can't do that(!).. Vote and write your name in. Just Vote.
