Between 15 minutes and 15 months depending on what one’s definition of a widebody is (aircraft vs pay scale) and if it’s offered in a BI drop or subsequent vacancy.

Do you consider 767 a widebody for the purpose of this conversation?

2 years after your soon to be forced NB captain upgrade. Hope you like commuting to reserve in SFO or EWR!

You’re right, I should have specified. Ideally the 787. Is that even at IAD or is it just the 777 and 767? Thanks.

So not even an option at IAD? I really don’t want to commute for WB. Happy to stay NB until something in DC presents itself.

The plug on the DCA 787 FO list was hired in November of 2022.

1-2 years is a reasonable answer. It could turn out wrong. Shake the magic eight ball again in 2025.

For FOs that are in DC, how long does it currently take to hold a line on a 73 or 320?

Like 4-5 months. I held a line on the 756 before I got off probation too.

DCA is fairly junior
