Dumb UPA Section 3 question

The 2024 rates already assume the Delta snap up, right? When the UPA was voted in, the snap up was a foregone conclusion and all the rates published for 2024 and beyond already include that…..yes?

Believe so, yes.

since the rates were published BEFORE the snap-up….i was wondering if there was a possibility that the rates in the UPA didn’t include it yet. The thread title clearly states that it was a dumb question.

if you look at the rates in section 3, there are the initial rates, the snap up rates (which triggered immediately), then the subsequent annual rates, which factor in the yearly % increases.

Follow on dumb question….does anybody’s pay register reflect the 2024 rates?

not yet. I heard mid month it should update. We’ll see. The new rates are finally published under the blended rate box, though.

The total pay looks correct on crew companion calendar when you pick up a trip; show changes and total pay. I think it might be using new rates to calculate behind the scenes. Eventually the pay registers will match I think...

my pay register shows the 2023 rates and the total pay reflects the old rates. Seeing the blended rates post is reassuring….I was just wondering if anybody had the new ones showing.

yes, I was seeing the same on Pay register. Looking on crew companion, the total pay is higher, so I'm assuming it's using the new January rates.

go to CCS, Crew companion, maybe trade board or calendar and click around. Maybe there you will see something higher than pay register.

i think we are good, but its always nice seeing the new number on the register.

The register will update soon for all of us in each of the pay mediums. Also, the unaugmented duty day (1:1 over 10 hours) should update soon as well.
