CAL LTD

Wondering if any ALPA members on here have an update on a timeframe for legacy CAL pilots to finally get their LTD contributions and gains that were made prior to the merger now that covid/contract work has been settled for some time?

ALPA emails will provide the answer to these questions, but from the sound of your question you either aren't an ALPA member, retired or spouse of a former CAL pilot...

No earlier than July 1st of this year. Initial distribution will be just north of $40 million of the excess funds. However, the only direct cash payments to those eligible will be for the premiums paid in years 2010-2012. The remainder of the initial distribution will be made to the Active HRA, the RHA, or redistributed to the remaining L-CAL pilots if there are no eligible dependents or spouses for an L-CAL pilot who passed away.
