Worster Hypocrisy
Our leader is a Hypocrite. I am happy to see she cares about Spirit furloughs. But when United was about to furlough 5,000 pilots she went on every single platform and told them they deserved to be furloughed. She bought vote No wrist bands and told people to vote No which would cause furloughs here at United. The only difference was these Spirit furloughs dont cost her anything. Happy people voted Yes to save our pilots like I did. She has no business being our leader. Only cares about her pocket book.
FYI just saw in local news a woman make a false police report similar to Worster and got 6 months in Prison. We need new leadership. Not one trying to save face and maintain a fake image. Hope to fly with one of the 186 soon. |

The OP isn't wrong though. If you were here in 2020, then you know. Hadn't thought about it until I read this post but yeah wtf huh.

Uh, she IS the new leadership...remember all the recalls and elections that happened like two years later?
and I distinctly remember Quigley's name on my furlough letter, not Anne's. Sorry you're still butthurt about the past. Go dive into your Scrooge McDuck pool of gold and relax. |
She's in charge after the "48 hour" MEC chairman with 15,000+ posts online? Or was there someone else?

She didn’t EVER say anyone “deserved to be furloughed.” Ever. She wanted the company to abide by the contract…not let certain people tear it up to advance their own personal agenda.
I think the ensuing fallout from the TUMI TA underscored even to many who had supported the LOA that the union/management relationship of that era had become far too imbalanced toward the company’s advantage. |

That anyone still thinks the company was anywhere near furloughing 5K pilots just shows how effective company fear tactics can be. I’ll even consent that thanks to federal stimulus we did pretty well with the Pandemic LOA (the 5% essentially dissolved into the new contract but 1st class DH for virtually no loss in pay was a pretty good outcome), but opposition had nothing to do with enjoying furloughs & everything to do with holding the company to abide by what they had previously agreed to & not allowing them to rewrite the playbook the minute we might actually need to exercise some of those contractual protections.
