UAL Base info
Howdy,
Is there a place where I can find info about pilot bases for UAL. I'm with another airline flying the A320 currently. I've read that some aircraft types are specific to certain bases? Appreciating any insight - thanks! |

We fly the Airbus out of LAX, SFO, DEN, ORD, EWR, IAH and IAD currently. We have over 200 more Airbus on order and it is highly likely the number of bases could be expanded. Most new hire classes have both 737 and Airbus slots, but some have had only one type for the whole class. We do have monthly bidding for bases, so if you get a base you don't want, you can likely bid out in a timely manner.
Good luck! |
To answer the question, GUM, LAS, CLE, and MCO/TPA are 737 only bases. All the other bases have all narrowbody fleets, 756, and 787. ORD, DEN, and LAX are the only bases that don't have 777, also.

Can’t forget MCO 787
Yea I don’t count that one beyond wishful thinking for people living there. My understanding is most of our pax are Americans, which if true means why would you fly through Orlando to Europe? I could be wrong but I stick to flying a to b 🤣 to the original poster: In short all fleets all bases except mco/cle/gum las are only 737 ORD , LAX and DEN no 777 that’s public info and can be searched :) |
