Authentication code

Got the invite for interview email. However, when I try and login to see dates it asks for an authentication code. Any ideas what the “code” may be? I sent an email to pilotdocs asking for the code.

Man oh man, this guy/gal is getting screwed by duo and they aren’t even on property yet! Duo authentication gone rogue!

I'm just waiting for the moment that I have to enter a duo authentication code to access Duo in order to get...an authentication code.

the authentication code is the code you use to access your application. Just look back through United emails and find one that gives you an authentication code. Copy, paste and you’re on your way. The email you receive after submitting your app has the code.

Sounds like you failed the first "test."

Thank you Allova736 that worked.

Just one more question….is there a logbook review during the interview?

Really? What do you think? When have you ever had a check ride or pilot job interview where they didn’t review your logbooks?

It’s a Legacy airline interview aka an interview for the last job you should hopefully have as a pilot. Do you really think they wouldn’t ask for your logbooks and review them while you are there?

So yes…of course there is a logbook review.

Chill out, man. Not that serious.

Yes, there’s a review, but it happens before they call you in the room. I’m sure if they have questions, they’ll ask, but nothing was brought up from my logbook. Have it tabbed and ready to go and make sure you can talk about whatever flight is in question (if there is a flight in question).

Once you have the interview scheduled they will send you the interview packet. It will have all the information you’ll need as well as what events to tab in your logbook.

The interview packet will also have a study guide - I hope this goes without saying, but have it down cold. They’re checking for your ability to study and retain information presented to you as well as if you even bothered to study at all. Believe it or not, people do show up the interview without even bothering to give the study guide much thought. They usually fall flat on their face pretty quickly.

Not to be a Richard, but if you had a hard time finding the authentication code, then you should definitely get interview prep. Spitfire Elite is one of the better ones out there. GL
