+1 for Staff Traveler. United and other airlines answer pretty quickly. Good luck getting an answer from Delta though.

Delta’s non rev website is old and clunky. My guess is it’s just not worth it for most delta guys to click through it unless it’s for themselves

Most guys I know commute on DL metal. If guys are commuting on mainline on a fairly easy commute reserving a jumpseat makes it easy. If guys commute on other airlines or RJs staff traveller or friends becomes a lot more important.

He meant why is it hard to get loads on staff traveler from Delta.

Because it is specifically prohibited to give out loads at Delta.... and they will hunt you down and fire your arse. My bud uses IM to communicate such things. The fear is real.

And thats what I answered. Why guys don't use staff traveller as much. Most of the commuters don't seem to use it. I gave practical reasons, although as noted above the company prohibits it aggressively as well.

That’s a weird answer then. Only pilots at Delta can look at loads? Delta pilots only commute on Delta metal? Because at most airlines, I imagine pilots are in the minority answering the load questions. In any case you answered it… it’s just Delta.

typing buddy while meanwhile trying to end a conversation lands as condescending and immature. If that was your intent then you nailed it, if not it’s something to consider

I use StaffTraveler extensively, especially for international non-rev travel. Delta and BA are the two outliers, but I have had responses from Delta on occasion.
