Can't wait to see how many "bleeding heart monger's" trip all over themselves to get in on this gig....Posted "Super Sunday" Feb, 6th.

Lack of staffing?? There's 1400+ UAL Pilot's ready to assist in being the solution of properly staff this airline....Just a thought.
Premium Pay Opportunity...

Due to fallout from the significant weather across our system, we are offering Voluntary Junior Manning on both the B737 and B777.

If you are a B737 Captain or First Officer in IAH, EWR or CLE, or if you are a B777 Captain or First Officer, that does a straight pickup of a full trip pairing from open time that originates on February 6, 2011, that pickup will be treated as a “voluntary junior manning” (VJM) event and you will be paid a minimum of 4:30/day or flight time flown, whichever is greater, at 150% of your normal hourly rate.

If you are available and would like to take advantage of this program, please contact crew scheduling.

It's interesting that in certain corners of this planet, if one does not step on their crank and work on their day off, it's spun as a job action.

They will have so many takers it will be embarassing. And thats why the furlough for an '07 hire will be at min 1.5 years. Sad but true.

And were there already....Do you think that the company has any "pressure", "intention" to get everyone back inside of 3 years to not have to do the long course for training? Short Course VS. Long Course thing....

Let us know how that works out and good luck, we're all counting on you (guys).

I got the JR Man call this morning. I'm at 20% and got called. No, I didn't answer. I don't work on my days off, well except for training on days off!

Any work for free or work on days off is a "no" vote for me on the new contract.
