SWA welcome packet????
Has anyone seen the SWA welcome packet that is online. I have it downloaded but can't attach it here... We all need to read it and compare... UAL - CAL -- where are we compared to these guys... Not even close...:
|
It's already posted in the majors forum. You just need to weed through a lot of the Delta stuff.
Edit: Here's the link to the welcome package. http://library.constantcontact.com/d...me-Booklet.pdf |
The UAL welcome packet was a jar of vaseline, broken glass, and some rubbing alcohol.
|
CAL's--a baggie with a set of wings and FO rank.
|
We didn't even get wings, they were out... and the picture id was a transfer from the old express photos...

Your Management should be saying, "Holy SH1T!" |
That's what I believe Hotwings point is: he's "mad" that his company isn't putting forward the same foot as SWA.

Would you rather the SWA rates, rules, etc be low? It should give you solid negotiating leverage. The SWA welcome packet should be a good thing.
Your Management should be saying, "Holy SH1T!" I think that we should at least match the SWA LUV! We should all be ****ed at our current situation and I hope that everyone will UNITE over this and get the contract we deserve! I do not think that anywhere in my post did it mention that I wanted SWA's rates etc. be low...? WTH? The package is a GREAT thing from SWA... Hello????? come in... |
At UAL...in 1999 when things were a whole lot better we got: Wings, Ceremony at DIA in front of big Jepp, a welcome party and the wives were wined and dined for three days. The best welcome I have had in 5 airlines.
TWELVE years and TWO furloughs later, things have really changed. I want to come back when things improve. SCOPE. Meanwhile, I will enjoy flying Monday through Friday, home every night, weekends off, paid holidays off and summer vacations. I'm not bitter, I'm blessed.. |
