Total, and they could all be mx and wx related, but the company can say they were sick calls and who can rebut it? We all know they're staff shortages. When they've pre-cancelled dozens of sim events in August before anyone has called in sick because the instructors are needed to fly the line, and they're paying XJT pilots 200% override because so much mainline flying was dumped on them, you know it is just bad planning.

I think these numbers expressed as a percentage of total planned departures would be much more dramatic. Also, it would be nice to see how many of these cancellations are due to lack of crews.

I don't know if this still works, but for UAL cancellations, type CRNTCX/ALL in unimatic. This will bring up all the days cancelled flights. There is a two letter code next to the cancelled flight. If it begins with a "K", it is pilot related. There are a bunch of other codes such as MW (major weather event), MX (maintenance), etc.
