SOC, Skynet, and the Terminator
In addition to the forced SOC, I noticed on Dec 1 that when I tried to log into Skynet, I was "re-directed" to "Flying Together.com," a happy place where all the "co-workers" look like the people in the music video "Black Hole Sun."
Flyingtogether.com used to have a link to take you to Skynet. It is gone now. The only remnant of getting to Skynet is by going to Departments and Pilot.
Interestingly, one of the first links you can select under Departments and Pilot is "Inside COAir Flight Ops." (No link for "Inside United Flight Ops.")

TW:
I know it's there for now, but it is all being slowly erased.
This place should be called "United Space Lines," because everything is done in a total vacuum. (I feel like an astronaut).
With William Shatner providing the naration:
"SLI....the final frontier. These are the voyages of the corporate entity "UniCon Holdings." Its five-year mission: to stretch out contract negotiations.....to seek out new code-shares and RJ Scope loopholes....to boldly slash the contract like never before!!"
(Music by Alexander Courage; performed by the ALPA garage-band)
Hmmmm.....with that analogy, I guess that makes us all Red Shirts (you have to be old enough to have seen the TV series to understand).

And when I try to log in to coair I'm also directed to the flying together website. I didn't want this merger any more than you did, but we are stuck with the changes...and I think you're going to like them.

"I think you're going to like them." I don't know who "them" is but I can tell you "them" brought nothing to the table. You should soak in what's left of a great airline while you can, because "them" is in the process of taking this airline back to the late 70's early 80's. I'm not sure how long "them" will last, but promote "them" as gods - I don't think so - "them" destroys!
