If you look at his history you'll see the truth. I'd be willing to bet that every LEC meeting he attends turns into a pep-rally for him. It's about you not him. It's your meeting not his. It's your future don't let him steal it. The UAL side is trying, but we need you guys to see this guy for who he is - A MANAGEMENT GUY AN NOT YOU SAVIOR. (More like a Jim Jones)

You mean the history as told here?

No, his action since the merger. If you accept what he did to you in the past, that's fine with me. The guy is in a position that has the potential to make this a really bad place to work. Talk to your non-scabs of the early eighties. You deserve better and collectively we can get more and make all our lives better. He has already caused damage and weakened our position. All I ask is you look and him from a collective standpoint and not treat the recent short-term gains as the desired way/method to achieve our long term goals.

The more you beat your drum the less credibility you have. In fact, it appears to me, assuming you are a L-UAL pilot and not Ringsane, that you feel harmed by Jay Pierce because he is not representing your best interests - as a L-UAL pilot.

Perhaps you should redirect your angst at your own MEC. Maybe you could shore up any deficiencies there if there are any, lol.

Why not address any issues brought up in my post instead of attacking me. It's guys like you that have lowered the bar for all. JP does not represent me nor will he ever represent me. You can get in line for your new uniform and IPAD.

It is great that the CINC visits the troops occasionally, but if it happens all the time then why have LEC officers?

Actually, just the opposite. At the last LEC meeting, I'm pretty sure I ****ed JP off by asking him directly, in front of the crowd.. what our plan was for the upcoming "Summer of Love". We disagreed on the answer and also on the Profit Sharing issue. But at least he showed up knowing that some of the pilots would be asking tough questions.

JP may be a lot of things, but afraid to come out and meet the pilots isn't one of them. As a matter of fact, I would expect all MEC Officers who are on full time flight pay loss to attend all meetings, no matter what airline they work for or represent.

I have called in on numerous Town Hall Conference Calls and given Jay praises when deserved, and also given him my "differencing" view when needed. To say that our MEC keeps us "in line" is just not true.

As another poster already mentioned.. if he didn't attend, you and others would probably claim that he was hiding from the membership. Guess sometimes you can't win.

Always
