The System Schedule Committee (SSC) has received a second Notice of Proposed Decision Making (NPDM) from the company. This new NPDM covers its intent to open an IAH B767 domicile in addition to the previously announced IAH A320 domicile. The NPDM process is described in detail in Letter of Agreement 97-04, Allocation of Flying Protocol. As part of the process, the SSC will analyze data and make recommendations to the company on the specific subjects of the NPDM. The process for the IAH 767 domicile is scheduled to run from April 13 through May 1. The SSC will request additional information pertaining to this NPDM. The information sought is part of the standard package the SSC seeks when a new domicile opens.

Interesting how none of CAL's airplanes work in our bases any more and only UAL's do and vice versa. Wonder how much THIS snafu is going to cost the company. Hell, the reason we can't get a contract is those boneheads in Chicago are too busy trying to screw up everyones lives and rearrange all the deck furniture on the Titanic............... Come to think of it, I don't think ORD is working for our headquarters, so why don't we just move it to Tennessee or somewhere like that? That makes about as much sense as moving 90% of the fleets to different bases. The system worked fine before this merger so now why the big move to change EVERYTHING?

GRU, GIG, LIM, EZE for sure going to 767-300. Not sure about any Europe flying on the 763. IAH 756 flying going through SFO and IAD more and more this Summer. 767-400 seems to be the choice for Hawaii flying, just not from IAH anymore. The 777 has taken that for a while leaving IAH pilots flying long trips through DEN/IAD/SFO/LAX and out to Hawaii.

The word from furloughees in Willis Tower is that the combined company is working as fast as they can to make it a single airline - there's no intention to operate as two separate ops.
Why no JCBA yet? They're not ready to mix metal. When the LCAL 757 procedures are identical to LUAL 757 procedures, we'll be close to being able to mix metal and crews. Like it or not, management's not going to sign a pilot contract which will increase costs long before they're able to mix metal and crews.

You mean like Delta did? Delta approached the pilot's MECs before the merger was even announced. Gave equity and raises before the SOC, and long before they mixed any metal. UAL had the benefit of going third. They saw the US AIr model, and the DAL way. We now know which way they chose. You are awfully trusting for a guy who has been kicked to the curb TWICE. Even if your right, they are still screwing us with every passing day. $137 for an Bus Captain??? SWA F/Os make more than that.
F em. I have turned into one POS employee, I can tell you that. And from what I am seeing on the line, it's a miracle were not back in court. UAL brought it on itself.

I look at it as a precursor to mixing metal. Incremental steps along the path.
