From the companies perspective it does make perfect sense to keep doing what they are doing now. Competition keeps the bids low. If they like it..it leads me to think I shouldn't?????

Also may eliminate any possible conflict of interest that might exist for ALPA by trying to serve his present pilot group's best interest and ours at the same time.

I think the philosophy of many of us is that it's such a non-issue that it doesn't make sense to waste negotiating capital on this particular item. UAL doesn't seem to have any interest in buying or flying RJ's. And if they suddenly did, it would look much like DAL's deal, where they are buying them to be distributed around the regional partner carriers.

The creation and continued health of the regionals is a cancer that I would like to see cut out. If I'm doing the same job you're doing in the same airspace, paint scheme, etc, I'd like to be on your seniority list. I'd also like the benefit of being right seat to the "old" guys who've been around forever and have far greater experiences than I do and, thus, much more wisdom to share.

So I wasted 10 minutes of an HDO debating scope with an RJ driver? Great. I guess it was my own damn fault. Oh well.

Swing and a miss. I didn't say one word about your TA. Careful old man, I'll run circles around you :D

BTW, stop calling me an RJ pilot. Ain't me no more.

If you want to read our posts. No problem. If you want to give an outsiders point of view, fine. If you want to start slamming us individually please go back down to your own level. Someday maybe you will have walked In our shoes but right now u r a kid, and you have not walked in our shoes, or next to us. Shut up, listen, and learn, if u are capable of this. Or at least, just go away.

Old man? LMAO! I'm 42. So you've moved on from the RJ's? Care to elaborate?

Well this just turned into a forum-based version of World of Tanks rather quickly...

Ahhh...the level of arrogance at the mainline level never ceases to amaze....

What is our "own level" by the way?

I wish I was still just "a kid"....but many of us at the regional level have passed the age of being just a kid while mainline pilots continued to give away the flying that was beneath them...Who wants to fly those "little airplanes" anyway...
