Are they usually night flying (commutable) trips and can you fly as efficiently as you can on the 737? Usually 73 gets 85 hour lines for the junior guys with tons of available open trips. How about the 75/76? Also the 75/76 will have single legs with long layover, so can't see it being as efficient. And how much of the flying is actually redeye? Thanks,
Go into PBS and jus to the right of the "my reports" tab is a "base awards reports" tab. If you click on the tab, it brings up a window with links to all the different base/Equipment/Status combinations. In your case, click on IAH 757 FO for February and you can see what people near your seniority are getting for trips. Another good resource to understand the trips is to go to CCS and go to Bidding>Bid Packages and pull up the Insert for whatever month you're looking at. It will tell you exactly what the aircraft codes and pairing numbers mean. Ie. in the february insert, it tells you that pairings ending in 501-599 are 757 IRO pairings. Using all this, you can get an idea of what your schedule might look like.

Is there an aircraft lock if you get the 75 as opposed to the 73 as a new hire (or vice versa), or can you bid to the other one right away if you wanted?

You can bid up anytime, but not back until after the lock.
The 757 is bidding up because its the 756 (add the 757-300 and 767's) and it's considered "up". Sure, you may never fly the higher paying airframes if you are junior, but it's still bidding up.

As for ripping uniforms in the little 737...? I've spent some time on it and I've never ripped a uniform nor has anyone I've flown with. No, I'm not a "little person", I'm an average sized male.

Consider yourself lucky. My pants are ripped, I smashed my melon into the PBE the other day, my bag is shredded (albeit slightly too big) I trip in and out of that thing every time. The same day I slammed into the PBE, I had the wings ripped off my blazer walking into the cockpit. 5'10" 185 lbs, in shape somewhat coordinated.

probably cause behind the pedestal it looks like we have lived there for a month. I thought it was bad until I JS on SWA. They had a 6 pack of water on the floor.
