Training Advancement Bid Terms?

Ok, for those of us who are new here. What do some of these terms mean on the TAB's? There is no CAL "dictionary" that explains what these all mean. I know some seem self explanatory but others aren't. Can I get a CAL guy to decipher these for us please?

Straight Advance?
First Half?
Second Half?
Involuntary?
