Point well taken. :D

Same here.

The depiction may be a little generous...here is what the real UAL looks like:

It needs a paint job. Big deal. It's still a bigger jet than 275 of CALs 737s.

Is that the jet that dropped a piece and caused the Concorde to crash?

Hey, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones is what he was trying to say. Guess those parable aren't taught to the kids these days.

Oh, and after having to deal with your Newark mechanics, I learned how you guys operate! They get incensed when I have the temerity to actually write up something! I've been told bluntly that "that's not how we do things here - we 'work together' to avoid delays". THAT is the kind of ** operation you allowed to thrive. Then you have the gall to ridicule the UAL pilots for demanding high quality maintenance standards. It's a good thing your planes are newer...

If you're a real pilot you'll understand that the exterior paint mismatches carry no negative connotations for the maintenance status of the plane.

What stones...
Show me one post where ANY Pilot from either side made a comment (jokingly or sarcastically) that dealt with deaths resulting from an Aircraft Accident.

Chances are, almost everyone on these forums knows/has lost someone in an Aviation Accident.

But now someone brings up Continental and the Concord Crash.

Uncool.
