It would seem to me to be underhand to post the CAL proposal and not the UAL proposal. Maybe the UAL proposal is as toxic to the CAL pilots as the CAL proposal is, apparently, to the UAL folk.
And why isn't it posted on the CAL site? If this stuff is to be posted, post both proposals to both sites.

So there I am! Stuck between Jan 2008 LCAL hires.... Me- hired Jan 1997 and never furloughed. At least you guys are being moderate. If I were a LCAL pilot, I swear that I'd be calling my Merger Committee and asking "***????".

Don't expect any LCAL pilots to say anything negative about this proposed list, but come on! In WHAT universe is this acceptable? Just like with the JCBA threats and the profit sharing $ grab, this will paint ALL of you a certain shade. This is going to be a looooong career

You'll have to ask the CAL side to explain.
The UAL side was very upfront that they would be posting everything available during the course of the arbitration since the proceedings are open to all pilots and their families. There are no secrets during the course of the arbitration except company confidential documents presented during closed session.

Oh, the profit sharing money grab, the idiotic pay banding scheme, and the other JCBA tantrums weren't a$$ f*ckings at all -- it turns out they were just light foreplay for their wet dream ISL. Poorly played IMO.

Wow Syd, you are one pessimistic dude , but did you know that the company and the CAL/MEC lost 2 grievances pertaining to the profit sharing "grab", and the award is yet to come.
On a more relevant note, I urge everyone to stop getting upset about this. As I mentioned earlier the only aspect of the CAL list worth noting is the fact they felt it would be ok to put furloughed pilots ahead of active pilots and that is quite significant. You know, I know, Mr. Katz knows that this list is absolute balderdash and just part of the theatrics. The sad part is I now see how much of a waste of time this whole process is. Both sides relevant arguments could have been made in an hour or less with no need to go into tedious details surrounding hire dates, equipment specifics, corporate financials, etc etc. It's unfortunate we have to wait 'til late summer to put this behind us because I don't see any game changing revelations coming from either side so the panel could easily come up with a list tomorrow if they wanted to, but c'est la vie I guess
